Choosing the right VPS plan for your setup

3 min readUpdated July 2026

The right plan depends mostly on how many MetaTrader terminals you run at once and how heavy your EAs and indicators are.

Rough guide

  • 1–2 terminals, light EAs: 2 GB RAM / 2 vCPU is comfortable.
  • 3–4 terminals or heavier indicators: 4 GB RAM / 3 vCPU.
  • 5–6 terminals, multiple accounts: 6 GB RAM / 4 vCPU.
  • Many terminals or backtesting: 8 GB RAM / 6 vCPU.

Tips

  • Custom indicators and tick-heavy EAs use more CPU than RAM — don't under-spec CPU.
  • You can upgrade later; start one tier up if you plan to add accounts soon.
  • Every plan includes a dedicated IP, NVMe storage and MT4/MT5 preinstalled.
